How did you meet each other?

I am the only founder.

How did you get this idea?

I've been working for several years in Investment banking before realizing it was definitely not a world I was fitting with. Being approached repeatedly by Head Hunters, I was astonished by their way of doing it : not a single question about my personality, what I enjoy / don’t enjoy, who I really was beyond my resume. So I decided to launch my own startup to offer a new way of recruiting by developing a trustful and honest relationship with candidates. The aim of Elinoï is to focus on people mostly, which is all the more important when it comes to startups since a misfit during the early stage of a startup can truly jeopardize the whole team and project.

What was your biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge I had to face was to find a way to scale a human-centered project. I spent a lot of time on the conception and development of Elinoï's platform to reach a fluent and scalable process. An other "challenge" is to make clients understand (and even more startups) that paying for recruitment is not wasted money but on the contrary a profitable investment

A piece of advice for new entrepreneurs?

Grow step by step and avoid to hurry too much. Take the time to make sure you're in the good direction before it's too late to go back. Another piece of advice would be anticipation and opportunism. Raise funds before you need it, hire the right people when you meet them. Generally speaking, think on the long run.
